Our Story
Greyhawk Construction is a West Texas-born, family-owned business founded nearly a century ago. Owner Ryan Almager is a fourth generation contractor, carrying forward decades of skill and hard work with his experience and vision.
Ryan’s great-grandfather began his construction career in the 1950s in Seminole, Texas, passing down his knowledge and wisdom to Ryan’s grandfather. Building on that foundation, he expanded the work and later partnered with Ryan’s dad to branch into specialty construction. Together, they worked tirelessly—guided by the motto “doing things the right way”—to build a reputation that has endured for decades across West Texas and New Mexico.
Working under top Lubbock developer Chad Tarver, Ryan gained immense knowledge of home building as the superintendent of Hub City Custom Homes. He is well versed in new construction project management, having overseen 40 homes from the slab up.
